Solid of revolution is a term from geometry that refers to a shape created by rotating a curve around an axis.
Spikes bring in chaos, disrupting the symmetry, breaking the smooth surface. The shape disintegrates, forming cracks and holes. It’s not that solid anymore.
A high-tech piece that just cannot be created through traditional jewelry techniques: each pendant is made by printing wax details on a 3D printer, which are then used for casting.
The pendant is meticulously assembled from several parts.
